Policy Statement on ‘Conflict Diamonds’

The H. L. Brown Group of jewellers is committed to ensuring that it supplies diamonds solely from legitimate sources in compliance with United Nations resolutions and not from sources which are involved in funding conflict.

Since 31st December 2002, the Group has adhered to the internationally accepted ‘Kimberley Process’, a governmental export and import control regime, which validates the origin of diamond consignments, and subsequent self-regulated system of warranties through the chain of diamond cutting, manufacturing and retailing.
