Seiko, Prospex Glacier ‘Save the Ocean’ 1968 Re-Interpretation Special Edition, Automatic Men’s Watc
Seiko, Prospex Glacier, ‘Save the Ocean’ 1968 Re-Interpretation Special Edition with a 40.5mm stainless steel case and bracelet strap featuring a date function and a textured blue dial with black ceramic bezel.
This model is inspired by the Seiko’s original 1968 300m diver’s watch, which was an important milestone in Seiko’s watchmaking history. It was worn by climbers on the first Japanese summit of Mount Everest. The special edition ‘Save The Ocean’ pieces are inspired by the terrain and ice of Antarctica in their design, colour and textures. Seiko also donates proceeds from the ‘Save The Ocean’ to PADI Aware Foundation’s Marine Debris programme.
